We take the time to walk you through each restorative treatment and discuss which one will work best for you.

Our Teeth Restoration Procedures

Composite Fillings

For teeth that have either been affected by decay, cracks, fractures and more, composite fillings are used to restore the teeth natural appearance and function. Our dentists will efficiently remove the affected parts of the tooth and fill it with a composite filling. While other filling materials are available, such as silver amalgam fillings and gold fillings, composite resins (tooth-colored fillings) are the most desirable since it will appear more natural. While it does have a good amount of durability, it will last for a long time.

Crowns (Caps)

In other cases, a crown procedure may be exactly what you are looking for, as it will boost your teeth durability and improve its appearance. A crown, or cap, is placed over the entire tooth surface and will match its size, shape, and color. Porcelain crowns are known to last for years, but like any dental restoration, it will need replacement later.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures are removable and are necessary replacements for any missing teeth or gum tissue. Complete dentures may either be conventional or immediate and are needed for when all teeth are missing.

  • Conventional dentures are used when teeth have been completely removed and the gums have had time to heal, which takes between 4-6 weeks and you would need to go without your dentures.
  • Immediate dentures are for immediate insertion as soon as the teeth are removed and will need adjustments after the tissues have healed completely.

When it comes to partial dentures, they are needed when a few teeth are missing and prevent teeth from shifting. Whether you need complete or partial denture both are very reliable and will last for many years, but due to regular wear, they may need to be readjusted, remade, or repaired.

Fixed Bridges

A fixed dental bridge is non-removable and is often used in cases when you need to replace missing teeth. As there are several types of bridges available, Dr. Ejtemai will help you determine which one will suit your needs best. A traditional bridge is considerably the most popular out of the three and is created with porcelain infused with zirconia. This bridge uses two crowns that are placed over two abutment teeth (anchoring teeth) and are attached to artificial teeth (pontics).
